Alpar Family Van

First things first, I am starting this GoFundMe without the knowledge, permission or blessing of the Alpar family. But I guess, what are friends for if not violating privacy with good intent and love?

The Alpar Family Van is unfortunately kaput, and they will need to get a new van asap. In any family this would be a wild inconvenience...costly, frustrating...but more so for this lovely family of 12. Because of their family unit size (10 kids!!), they need a much larger vehicle than most.

Now the way I figure it is if the military hadn't flung our families half the country away for the last few years, there would have been several opportunities to bring a bottle of wine to dinner, treat a birthday lunch, pick up something they needed at the commissary. If every one of Melissa's Facebook friends donated $10 (c'mon, wouldn't you have spent that on this wonderful family if you were close enough?!) Then they would have $6000 towards a down payment. I think we can do that.

Anyone that knows the Alpars knows the love of this big family. Let's shower them with a little bit of that love back.
