Most people who know us know how much Diego means to our family. He’s more than a pet — he’s our first dog and part of our family. Since we don’t have family in Nebraska, it’s just us and our dogs. Diego has been such a steady companion, especially during the nights and weekends when Dale is working. He brings so much comfort and joy to our home.

This past weekend, we learned that Diego has a 5½-inch tumor on his liver. After meeting with a surgeon and completing several tests and scans, we’re grateful to have some hope. The veterinarian believes surgery is the best course of action and is optimistic about the outcome.

The surgery is costly, and we’re asking for help in saving his life. If you feel compelled to contribute, any amount would truly be appreciated. We’re also grateful for your prayers and positive thoughts as Diego prepares for surgery.
