Dear Family and Friends,
My name is Brittney Rollins-Thomas and I'm asking for any help in my fight against Invasive Carcinoma Breast Cancer. I'm a wife and mother and I'm scared in the fight daily to get through treatment and surgery. My oldest is starting her first year in college and my other children are doing well in school and are so talented. They create custom designed gym shoes and sell snow cones in the summertime. I even made my daughter a hand beaded dress for her prom. I am blessed to have them in my life.
In Aug 2023, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer. This has been devastating news and it has had a traumatic impact on me and my family, emotionally, spiritually, physically and financially.
We're doing the best we can but this has been challenging each and every day. Therefore, its with a heavy heart that I'm asking for your support. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
The funds raised would go towards bills accumulated while having my surgical procedure, radiation, chemo treatment, transportation cost, follow-up doctor's visits and medications. I have a long journey to a full recovery and I really in need of this financial stress lifted off us.
I will admit my quality of life has completely depleted with this diagnosis and it has caused stress, strain, and depression within my whole family unit. I am a Christian and my faith in God is what keeps me fighting. My devotion to my family is what keeps me from weeping, but I'm not as strong as I look. I have days where I want to give up, I have days where I want to scream and cry. And I have days where I just want a hug. This is an emotional roller coaster for sure.
I am thankful for my family encouraging me because without them I don't know how I would've made it this far. This is my journey and it's a hard one. But I am determined to fight cancer everyday to be able to see my children grow and flourish in life. I have so many memories I want to make.
