For many of us, 2016 has been a year of many ups and downs and hardships. For our dad, Alvaro Guerrero, he has always seen the positive in every trial. Regardless of the many health issues he has encountered, he's always remained faithful and optimistic of the future.

On December 30th, we received a call from his doctor that there was a liver available. At 5 a.m. on December 31st, after many procedures and testing, he was declared a full match for the liver that he had been so anxiously awaiting. We all couldn't be more excited and happy for this news!

Many of you have come to meet our dad and be a part of our great family. As a man of great faith, he has always had an open heart and an open home policy. He's touched many hearts and has been a great inspiration to all of us.

Our dad's care post surgery is extensive and the costs for his medical care are high. That's why, as a family, we're asking for your help. Help to alleviate some of the expenses for the surgery, the medications he will require, and any post hospital care.

After surgery our dad is scheduled to be in ICU for 3 days, then the hospital room for about 6-7 days.

Now, we hate asking for money but understand that it is necessary as our dad is the primary income earner and will need money to pay for medical bills, medicine, and so forth.

Please allow 1-2 day turnaround, after all, our dad is in the hospital.
