Hi I am Tom’s nanny who last year walked Hadrian’s Wall with my friend Lynn, 73 miles, and then I raised funds for Norfolk and Waveney Mind in memory of my grandson Tom.

On the 9th June Lynn and I are walking the Coastal Path around the Isle of Wight, 70 miles. This time I will be using Tom’s rucksack which made me think once more I should raise some funds in his memory.

Leanne and Emily do not have a space where they can go just to spend time just to reflect, so why not a bench where family and friends can spend time remembering this lovely person.

Tom shared my love of the countryside especially the coast and the picture I have shared is one he sent to me on Beeston Bump near Sheringham.

It will cost approximately £1,000 to place a bench in whichever location the family chooses so any help we can give will move them closer to a reflection space.

If donations exceed that target then the remainder will be donated to Age UK Norfolk where I am a volunteer supporting the elderly in my local area.
