Please Help My Lifelong Friend Andrea

Andrea peacefully passed yesterday. She was surrounded by her loving husband and children.

Please help my lifelong friend Andrea.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the story of my dear friend, Andrea.

We met on the first day of sixth grade and have been close ever since.

Andrea is one of the most brilliant and selfless people I know, excelling in everything she set her mind to.

She became a physical therapist,

passionate about helping others. But life has thrown Andrea some incredibly tough challenges.

Her first born, a son born prematurely passed away after three weeks.

Her second child, another son faces many challenges, and her third child, a daughter was born missing part of her brain’s corpus callosum, resulting in lifelong challenges.

Despite it all, Andrea never complains and just keeps going, putting her family first.

In 2021. Andrea was diagnosed with sarcoma in her abdominal cavity. With treatment and surgery she had a brief remission.

In 2024 the sarcoma returned and again was treated, but last fall, the cancer returned yet again and has now spread.

Her doctors say there are no more options . Surgery is too risky and recovery would be a long struggle. She is now at home in hospice care, and unfortunately, her insurance is only covering part of it.

Andrea’s loving husband, David, an incredible music teacher and artist, will be left to care for their two kids.

Andrea retired last September after many years of practicing physical therapy and now, I am asking on behalf of my friend to ease the financial burden her husband will be facing.

Andrea has always been a thoughtful, loving, and giving person. She was there for me when I needed her most and now I hope we can show her the same love and support. If you are able to help her in any way , whether financially or by sharing this page, it would mean the world to Andrea and her family.

No one ever expects to face something like this and it could happen to any of us. Your contribution will help ensure Andrea receives the best care in her final days and it will provide some comfort to her her family during this incredibly difficult time.
