Living Kidney Donor Needed
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jacquelyn (Jackie) Chapman, and I am putting out a request for a Living kidney donor. I’m O positive which is one of the blood types that is really hard for find donors for. Having a living donor means that I won’t have to wait five to ten years on the transplant list for a kidney to become available and that my LIFE span would increase because of someone else’s generosity.
Here’s the link of FAQs about being a living donor and the process; https://www.piedmont.org/transplant/services-treatments/kidney-transplant-faq, This link has more information on the page about the journey of kidney transplantation, more living donor information and questions about the kidney transplant itself. If you want to contact me directly, I will try to answer questions to the best of my ability. If I’m unable to provide an answer to your questions, here is the link to my FaceBook page with the contact information for Leanne Whitehead, Living Donor Coordinator, Piedmont Hospital and a little bit more about me. Just mention my name and I’m sure she’ll be happy to send you more information or just expound on being a living donor if your questions and concerns that are not addressed in the FAQs.
The monthly expense of my medication can be a costly endeavor. There are six medications required from transplantation onward that are required to help maintain the viability of the new kidney.
Thanking you in advance for your considerations.
