A very special friend of mine, Patty Conlon, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. This past year, in addition to losing her mother as well as her beloved dog Cheyenne, she lost her job when her company went out of business. With that she lost her employer based health insurance also. She became self employed, which means she bears the total cost of her health insurance. In order to afford that insurance she has a policy with a $6000.00 deductible. The week of April 13th she received her access port & her first chemotherapy treatment - the bills are already over $20,000.
Friends & family have asked for ways to participate in Patty's fight & donations to help cover the mounting medical bills would be a huge weight off of her.
