My name is Anantha Raju K. About 2 years back, both of my kidneys failed, due to high blood pressure, and I am surviving so far on dialysis since then. Now my wife, Shubha, has decided to donate one of her kidneys to me, via a transplant. I have 3 daughters all under the age of 13. As of now, I do not have any source of Income. I work as a priest in Shri. Veera Anjaneya Swamy temple, in Manganahalli. We had been to Victoria Hospital, Bangalore, for the Kidney Transplant. We got to know that my Blood group is O+, and my wife’s blood group is AB+. Since the hospital does not have filter facility available which is required for the transplant, we were referred to Manipal hospital(Bangalore), for the transplant.
Preparations for the operations has been arranged in Manipal Hospital , and I am going through some treatments before the operation. It would cost us approximately 14 lac rupees for this operation/transplant as per the hospital statement(please see attached).
we have tried to arrange for this amount with all I have and what my immediate family members could help with and we could not come anywhere close to this amount of 14 lacs. I have exhausted all my options.
This is my humble request to you, for any possible financial help from your end, towards this life saving surgery. I sincerely appreciate, you taking time reading my story, and if you decide to contribute anything towards this.
