Hello Everyone, thank you for taking the time out to visit our Go fund me page (Jake and George)


The Martlets plays a vital role in helping people diagnosed with a terminal illness to live life as fully as they can. Through expert clinical care, provided by highly skilled and experienced doctors and nurses, they ensure that, wherever possible, peace, respect and dignity is maintained at someone’s last steps in life. They care for people across our local community, yet the hospice is not part of the NHS. They have to raise over £8 million a year to ensure the continuation of hospice services. 


We have decided to take action and will try to raise £1,500 for the Martlets for completing the Brighton marathon! 


This charity has been close to both our hearts as we have lost loved ones recently and The Martlets have helped these loved ones enjoy their last days and asked for nothing in return! So it’s our turn to help and raise as much money as we can to help others through these hard times. 


George’s target is to complete the marathon in 4 hours or under.
Jake’s target is to complete the marathon in any given time as he is going through physio with knee problems and will have a approximately 6 weeks to train with the possibility of not being able to do it


Two hours of rehabilitation therapy costs £54.20


One hour costs £27


£184.50 would pay for our Hospice at Home team to make two home visits.
