On April 16th, our St. Helena community tragically lost a much loved civic leader, father, and husband, Jaime Rubio.
Jaime was an active community leader and made significant contributions to our St. Helena Multi-Cultural Committee, our St. Helena Unified School District, especially with his work to bring Preschool for All to fruition. He was also instumental in initiating the St. Helena's Field of Dreams soccer field, and was an active leader within our St. Helena Catholic Church community.
He was known for his devotion to his beloved family. Jaime leaves behind his beautiful wife, Elia, and his three daughters, Elia, a senior and star student and athlete at St. Helena High School, Marieli, a sophomore and also a star student and athlete at St. Helena High School, and Melina, a second grader at St. Helena Primary School, and a star student and avid Ballet Folklorico dancer. Jaime and Elia have instilled in their children the importance of community service and volunteer work.
In the wake of this sudden loss, the Rubio family is in need of an outpouring of love and generosity from all of us he served in this community and beyond.
Your donations and financial support are greatly needed to cover immediate funeral expenses and to offset pressing financial obligations.
Please give generously. Give what you can. Share this site.
