Title: "Rebuilding My Life After COVID-19-Induced Transverse Myelitis"

Hello, I'm Jeremiah Galan, and I'm facing an unexpected battle after contracting COVID-19 in January. The virus triggered Transverse Myelitis which was unknown at the time on February 27,2023 and have not been able to work. After visiting several specialists ,enduring several months of pain, a TIA’s ,blood clots and heart issues it was not officially diagnosed until June of 2023. This condition has had a profound impact on my life. It affects my spinal cord causing weakness, numbness, and pain in my right extremities and could lead to paralysis and does at times out of nowhere. Simple tasks that most people take for granted have become daily struggles for me.

I've undergone numerous medical treatments, therapies, all of which have taken a toll on my physical and emotional well-being of quality of life. Medical bills have piled up, and the financial burden has been overwhelming for my family and myself. As a father of four beautiful daughters despite these challenges, I refuse to let Transverse Myelitis define me. I am determined to regain my mobility, independence, and pursue my dreams.
