Мене звати Віра. Я — вдова і біженка, яка втекла від війни, намагаюсь почати нове життя в чужій країні без знання мови. Живу від зарплати до зарплати, працюю вдень і вночі, щоб утримувати себе і знімати житло. Але зараз мене спіткала страшна біда, і я не можу впоратись сама.

5 серпня 2025 мій син Андрій, який знаходиться в Україні, потрапив у жахливу аварію через чужу недбалість. В результаті якої, він отримав такі тяжкі травми:

• перелом основи та лицьової частини черепа

• забій головного мозку

• велику зовнішню навколоорбітальну гематому на обличчі та 5 менших внутрішніх гематом у скроневій і лобній ділянках мозку

• перелом 5-го шийного хребця

• перелом лівої гомілки в двох місцях

• перелом шийки лівої стегнової кістки

• перелом правого передпліччя, забій грудної клітки, тощо

У висновку лікарі діагностували політравму та травматичний шок 3-го ступеня. У перший день вони сказали: “Якщо він доживе до ранку — це буде диво”. Ми молимося, і Бог досі тримає його!

Зараз він перебуває в реанімації у контрольовано важкому стані. Час від часу його вводять в седацію. Йому вже зробили часткові операції, встановили апарати зовнішньої фіксації, провели переливання крові та кріоплазми. Попереду — ще не одна складна операція та довгий і складний період лікування і реабілітації.

Із рідних поруч із ним лише мій брат — людина з інвалідністю — та братова донька. Інших близьких, які могли б забезпечити належний догляд і фінансову підтримку, немає.

Цей трагічний випадок назавжди змінив наше життя та має страшні наслідки. Тому прошу всіх небайдужих підтримати нас молитовно — бо молитва має велику силу! — а також фінансово, адже витрати на лікування є непосильним тягарем для нашої сім’ї.

Кожен внесок, навіть найменший, наближає мого сина до одужання та рятує його життя.

My name is Vira. I am a widow and a refugee who fled the war, trying to start a new life in a foreign country without knowing the language. I live paycheck to paycheck, working day and night to support myself and pay for housing. But now I have been struck by a terrible tragedy, and I cannot manage on my own.

On August 5, 2025, my son Andrew, who is in my home country, was involved in a terrible accident due to someone else’s negligence. As a result, he sustained the following severe injuries:

• fracture of the base and facial part of the skull

• traumatic brain injury

• a large external periorbital hematoma on the face and 5 smaller internal hematomas in the temporal and frontal lobes of the brain

• fracture of the 5th cervical vertebra

• fracture of the left shin in two places

• fracture of the neck of the left femur

• fracture of the right forearm, contusion of the chest, and others

In the medical report, doctors diagnosed polytrauma and third-degree traumatic shock. On the first day, they said: “If he lives until morning, it will be a miracle.” We pray, and God is still holding him!

He is currently in the intensive care unit in a controlled severe condition. From time to time, he is put under sedation. Partial surgeries have already been performed; external fixation devices have been installed; blood and cryoplasma transfusions have been done. Ahead are still multiple complex surgeries and a long and difficult period of treatment and rehabilitation.

Among relatives, only my brother — a person with a disability — and my brother’s daughter are with him. There are no other close relatives who could provide proper care and financial support.

This tragic accident has forever changed our lives and has severe consequences. Therefore, I ask all kind-hearted people to support us in prayer — because prayer has great power! — and also financially, since the treatment expenses are an unbearable burden for our family, because there is no health insurance.

Every donation, no matter how small, brings my son closer to recovery and saves his life.
