I hate to ask for handouts. But my van is my home and my tools, clothes, and possessions are in it. It was impounded for lack of registration. It's pretty much everything I have.

There's police release fees, towing fee, $150 per day impound fee, registration for 2 years, penalties, insurance, and on and on. The local DMV is closed for remodel and the nearest DMV is in Watsonville, 20 miles away. Every day without my van will cost more and make things more difficult. It's humiliating to ask, but this is my only hope. <3
