Tammy's Cancer Battle

Hello, my name is Tammarrell Bain, affectionately known as "Tammy" to most of you. I've maintained a relatively healthy lifestyle my entire life. Never missed an annual physical, inclusive of mammograms and ultrasounds; but after a bout of consistent pain, in March of 2023, I was unfortunately diagnosed with HER2-Triple Negative breast cancer. To say this was out of left field is an understatement. I had to make a decision and I needed to move quickly. To date, with God's grace, a strong mental and emotional support system from my family and friends, I think I've demonstrated incredible resilience while undergoing various medical treatments, including surgery, chemotherapy and eventually radiation therapy at The Cleveland Clinic, Florida. Despite the emotional and financial burden of my condition, I remain extremely determined to overcome this challenging chapter in my life.

With mounting medical bills and an inability to work full-time due to treatment, I am now finding it increasingly difficult to cover the costs associated with my cancer treatment. Moreover, the expenses incurred for regular check-ups, housing accommodations, medication, alternative therapies and counseling have only added to my financial strain despite having health insurance.

Therefore, I am humbly seeking your support to alleviate the financial burden that I am currently facing. Your contribution will provide me with the means to afford essential treatments, medications and other related expenses. My goal is to raise $60,000.00 to help ensure that I can focus on my physical and emotional well-being without worrying about the financial implications of this very unfortunate diagnosis and condition.
