I am the proud granddaughter to 93 year old Roberto Moreno. A genuine, good humored and loving family man who was a previous Ball Turret Gunner in a B17 during WWII.
He completed 30 missions over Europe while being stationed in Great Ashfield, England. Including missions over Berlin.
He worked hard his whole life for his family. He has a love for making others laugh, a good baseball game, some Wheel of Fortune and Price is Right. He is active and in wonderful health. His biggest smiles are given when he is spending time with his great grandbabies.
We are praying for donations to assist with getting my Grandfather to his very first reunion of his 385th Bombardment Group and 8th Air Force that is scheduled to be held in Omaha, NE in October. Funds will also benefit me accompanying him during the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. this July.
