Angel's Medical Recovery

Hello, my name is Alexis and I am a mother of four. I never thought I would have to create a GoFundMe for one of my children, but here I am asking for your help. My son Angel, who is 19 years old, had a traumatic experience after ingesting a counterfeit fentanyl-laced pill at a hookah lounge in Orlando, Florida on October 28, 2023. Angel was unaware that the pill was fake and had Fentanyl, Angel was poisoned!

Angel went into cardiac arrest and had to be resuscitated twice by paramedics. He suffered a severe Anoxic brain injury and spent two and a half months in the ICU. After researching specialized brain injury facilities, we found NeuLife Rehab in MT Dora, Florida where Angel has been making incredible progress with therapy.

However, our healthcare benefits for inpatient rehabilitation have a limited annual cap of 60 days. We recently received the news that we will have to either pay out-of-pocket to continue Angel's care at Neulife or take him home. I resigned from my job to be by Angel's side, but now we need your help to ensure he receives the best care for his recovery.

I am asking for donations from our community, friends, family, and social media network to support Angel's ongoing treatment and rehabilitation. Your contribution will make a difference in Angel's recovery journey and help us continue to provide him with the care he needs.
