Zach Knuth's Amputation Recovery

Donation protected
Zach is my brother, and one of the strongest people that I know.  He has proudly served 5 years in the US Marine Corps, he is an avid Motorcyclist (Harley!), loves his friends and family and of course his Great Dane "Mario". Zach has lived in San Diego CA for three years.

Zach was involved in a terrible Motorcycle accident on 1/24/2016.  Fortunately he was able to get immediate medical care.  Despite the medical team's best efforts, Zach's right foot and lower leg had to be amputated.  He also suffered a dislocated right shoulder and broken fingers on both hands.  In spite of his medical obstacles, Zach is trying to keep in good spirit and positive attitude, and is focusing on the future.
Zach had to spend 11 days in the hospital, and underwent 2 surgeries.
Zach is now home and starting the recovery process.  He continues to struggle with phantom pain.  His next step will be the process of physical therapy and working toward getting a prosthetic leg and foot.

Prior to the accident, Zach was employed working for a security company.  Unfortunately, he does not have health insurance or disability insurance.
I am seeking financial support for my brother so that he can begin to address the financial impacts of this life changing event.  The medical bills have started to roll in, and the paychecks have stopped.   Funds raised will be used with his medical costs resulting from this accident.

Please consider supporting Zach's road to recovery.  Your financial support,  healing thoughts and  prayers are greatly appreciated.
