Support for the Glover Family

As many of you know, my 16 year old nephew, Lance Glover Jr (Toon) and his 3 sisters LaTosha, LaNa'ysia, and Latrice unexpectedly lost their dad on Sunday as a result of complications from Covid. Toon is getting ready to start his junior year of high school and is projected to be a football standout- a sport that him and his dad were extremely passionate about. Lance Sr. and I exchanged several messages over the last few weeks about his excitement of the upcoming season and his expectation that he would be in those stands cheering his boy on. Sadly, he won't be there physically and Toon, his sisters, and other family are now trying to plan his funeral and manage the rest of the estate business at a time where usually they would only be planning for the weekly football game.

I want my nephew and his siblings to have the closure that they need as they say goodbye to their dad. Anyone that knows Lance Sr. knows that he was there for his kids 100% of the time. No one is ready to say goodbye to their dad, especially when he was only 52, and it is my hope that this GoFundMe will relieve some of the stress and pressure on them. Lance was a Navy Veteran so there will be some contribution from the VA. Anything left over will be dispersed amongst the 4 of them.
