Help MI Music Farm/Animals /& Blues
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jack Mulder.
https://www.facebook.com/MIMusicFarm
My wife, my mother and I live on our farm in Michigan. We use our property to help raise money and awareness for the homeless animals at the local animal shelter “PoundBuddies Animal Shelter & Adoption Center” (a 501c charity) by having live music concert parties in the barn and out on the property. The benefit$ are directed towards the ever mounting veterinary bills a “no refuse” shelter like this incurs.
People also bring needed items to these parties for another 501c charity we help called “Pay It Forward Outreach Clinic” who helps low income families with veterinary services.
And of course the shows also benefit the Blues and many blues musicians (another cause of mine). I book numerous local and national bands a year…all blues!
To help us with this, we need to upgrade the outside stage area by concreting the stage floor area (now it is pallets, milk crates, weeds and dirt and not a fit place for instruments and electronics), add a roof, add removable wind blocks and add some sod around it all. Estimate $2,982.00
Here’s a live video of one of the wonderful bands that help us, on the “stage” at one of our outside concert/parties. It should give you more of an idea about what we do and the stage needs:

Here’s what there is for an outside stage now: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=809544249070539&set=a.809543679070596.1073741861.100000449133758&type=3&theater
Here’s an article about one of my foster dogs:

I’m able to help the homeless animals with these consistent benefit shows much more than I could possibly do by fostering and/or adopting any more animals at this time (there are 9 fur kids on the property now). I also write, create ads and do promo work for PoundBuddies. I run two animal welfare pages on FaceBook too…a Lost & Found Pets Reposters and the Pet it Forward page.
I’m not a group or 501c charity…just a guy who helps how he can with what he has. I organize and fund these events myself, but I don’t have the physical ability for the labor or the money to do this upgrade without help.
We’ve been doing this now since 2009… two a month in the warmer months on site and once a month in the winter.
The goal is $2982. All you cool people who donate will get your name in our postings and thank you’s along with a group of donors names framed and displayed on the wall of the barn.
If we don’t reach the goal, we’ll do what we can with what was raised, but don’t worry…the show WILL go on :-)
If the goal amount is passed, overage$ will be used for other improvements that help the cause(s) at our Blues Barn.
So…if you would like to help us help …please do!
Thanks for your time and consideration,
Jack
