Hello, we are reaching out to you to extend a helping hand to our family members in Palestine who are facing immense hardship. Among those we aim to support is our cousin Victoria, residing in Gaza with her family (three daughters age 19, 14, and 7).
The situation in Gaza has rendered basic necessities exorbitantly priced. For instance, a bag of flour now costs between $100 and $150 due to the ongoing challenges exacerbated by the prevailing conditions. Despite the tremendous efforts, much-needed humanitarian aid struggles to reach their locality, compelling families like Victoria’s to bear the burden of purchasing essentials on their own.
It is also our hope to find a way, if possible, to help rescue them from Gaza. In order to cross the Rafah Gaza-Egypt Borders, they need to have their names listed on the crossing list (paid permit). They are now asking for anywhere from $7,000 to $10,000 per person! This amount is subject to change at anytime. They will not add the names until we can prove we have the money ready if they are allowing crossing at that specific time.
Furthermore, we are also seeking assistance for my Aunt and Uncle, who find themselves in a precarious financial situation in the West Bank. With their children unable to work amidst the ongoing crisis and the restrictions imposed at checkpoints, they face the daunting challenge of meeting their day-to-day expenses, including bills and groceries.
Your contribution, no matter the amount, will make a significant difference in alleviating the struggles our family faces. Your generosity and support in spreading the word are deeply appreciated. Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues so that we can reach our goal and provide safety for our family.
Thank you, and may you be blessed abundantly for your kindness.
With gratitude,
Ellen & Victoria
