Dear Friends and Partners of Esi-
As we have all been personal beneficiaries of Esi’s wonderful gifts of friendship, insight, support, mentorship, and even career sponsorship—we are reaching out to you as a member of her collected tribe to solicit your support for our dear friend and her family!
Esi’s father (James Eggleston) suffered a brain stem stroke on August 1, 2018 —as many of you are well aware. The family rallied together to do all they could to comfort her Dad and support his recovery. Thankfully he has made progress and continues to his plight to thrive and live despite living in a world of “locked-in syndrome.”
The ongoing costs for Mr. Eggleston’s 24-hour health care are exorbitant and truly draining. While Esi will never ask nor solicit our financial support, we feel compelled to curate a roster of beloved folks who we know love and value Esi to rally on her behalf during this season of giving and sharing.
Will you please reach deep into your personal pockets and support our friend by contributing to this fundraising effort in the spirit in which it is created All of your contributions will directly go to Esi’s father’s medical care. Our goal is to raise at least $50,000.00 before the end of the year, and anything you can give during this season of giving will be of great appreciation. It is our wish that we will show up with tremendous support. And while we may not be able to absorb all the ongoing costs, our goal is to offer Esi an unexpected and overjoyed moment of comfort and relief going into the holidays from her tribe that loves and her!
