Anti-Racism Fund for Northland Preparatory Academy
Donation protected
On June 19, 2020, Northland Preparatory Academy (NPA) students and alumni published an open letter to the NPA Board, Administration, Faculty and Staff urging them to take concrete steps to become a more anti-racist institution and to educate students on racism, identity and privilege. The full letter and list of requested actions is available here.
We recognize that change does not happen without resources, and as part of the NPA community, we want to support NPA in taking these actions.
NPA Alumni and Parents of NPA Students and Alumni: Many of us benefited greatly from the dedicated teachers and opportunities NPA provided. If you are able, please consider giving back to support these important changes and sharing this page with others in the NPA community.
NOTE: These funds will be used solely and directly to support anti-racist education and programs, such as buying books for students, paying workshop facilitators, or having a fund to pay for tests and test prep for students from low-income families. We will work with NPA to decide how the funds will be disbursed, and welcome your suggestions!
If you have any questions or further ideas and resources to support this initiative, please email [email redacted].
