My name is Nae, the Womb Fairy and right now… I really need help. I have breast implant illness, and it is literally eating me alive. I have just about every symptom associated with this debilitating illness. I experience constant fatigue, nausea, appetite loss, hair loss, weight loss, memory loss, debilitating headaches, disorientation, trouble standing for long periods, joint pain, muscle pain and my breathing has been compromised.

After losing my breasts and receiving the implants, I thought the battle was over, but it was not. This condition has negatively impacted every aspect of my life. My choice to get implants was actually in an effort to prevent breast cancer, which has claimed the lives of my grandmother, mother and four aunts. There are three remaining survivors and three victims of breast implant illness, including myself.

I became ill just under a year after undergoing breast implant surgery (April 2018). On November 15th, I will undergo explant surgery to remove the implants. My recovery process is projected to be 4 to 8 weeks. During that time, I will be unable to work and need my community's support. I have exasperated all of my funds to pursue this surgery. Asking for help in such a public manner is truly humbling. I never imagined I would be at this point, but here I am. I am asking for anything that you may be able to give.
