Prayers For Our Wounded Warrior
Donation protected
Our son, Justin Deskin, is an Airman in the United States Air Force. In October he collapsed and was later shipped state side to Walter Reed Medical Hospital (Bethesda, MD). He was diagnosed with toxic chemical nerve damage and has been dealing with severe nerve pain in his body and lack of feeling in his extremities for months. He has had severe reactions to the chemical exposure that has sent him to the ICU and requires that he have a 24 hour assistant. Our family has made multiple trips and will be making more as we start to rotate moving up to D.C. to provide his 24 hour assistance. We refuse to believe he will have anything but a full recovery and know that with every passing day he is getting better. It had been requested, by an out of town friend, that we set this page up for support, prayers and positive energy. I think this is a wonderful website, but it is emotionally overwhelming to personally take part. This being said I do not expect financial assistance from those who read this, but I do ask that you say a prayer or send some positive vibes for our son. I would like to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to: Jared (his NMA since Dec.), Wounded Warrior Project/Transition, yellow ribbons fund, the Fisher House, his wonderful doctors at Walter Reed/Johns Hopkins and support crew that manage his case, my Iberia R-V family, Glen, Gary, and all who keep us in your prayers.
