Uganda Missions Trip

My mom and I are trying to raise enough money for the both of us to go on a mission trip to the GEM Foundation in Uganda, Africa. We will be going to help with construction, clearing of land, and loving on the 41 special children living there.  The GEM Foundation is a Christian-based orphanage in Kampala, Uganda. This will be the third year our church has gone to help; however, this will be the first time for both of us.  We are looking forward to joining our church as they help out such a wonderful foundation.  Between the both of us we have to raise $7,000 by July 15th, this will pay for all expenses: air fair, food, housing and transportation. 

If it is important to you that you receive a tax deduction for your donation then please make and send your check to the River Church at 860 Plymouth Drive, Durango, CO 81301. Make sure to include our names on the envelope, and not the check. You can put "Uganda" in the memo space to ensure credit.  

We are aware that $7,000 is a substantial amount of money; however, we feel called to this particular missions trip and have decided to trust God and take a leap of faith. Any amount of money would be incredibly beneficial to this goal and will be greatly appreciated.
