Hello,
On April 21, 2015 my mother, Sandra De la Riva Pacheco, passed away. Sandra was born on December 15, 1956 in Indio. My mom was born with a heart condition, and had open heart surgery in January 8th, 2015 for a heart valve replacement. A lot of us thought that after the surgery she would be fine; however, she lost her battle 3 months later. My mother was a strong independent woman who was still grieving with the death of my brother, Sergio, who had just passed away six months prior. Sergio was only 37 years old when he lost his battle to the JC Virus. Sandra didn't always have the best circumstances in life, but she was always a strong and independent woman. During her life she never lost her faith when obstacles were presented to her. Her courage and strong mindset will carry on through my sister Jasmine and I. We can only continue to pray for Sergio and Sandra's memory now, and be at peace that they are together in a better place. This is a very difficult time now as Jasmine and I must carry on their legacy, and become the strong leaders that my mother shaped us to be.
Jasmine and I are asking for your help to relieve some of the financial burden in having our mother rest in peace thanks through the help of GoFund. We are still dealing with the the financial hardships of losing Sergio.
