The Matthews Family

Hi, my name is Jillissa Matthews, and my father, Raynard S. Matthews, a retired navy vet, passed away unexpectedly on the 18th of this month. 3 days after I gave birth to his newest grandchild, whom he never got to meet, Sophia. He got into an accident with my brother Dwayne when someone fell asleep, drove over the median, and struck him head-on. Sending them both to ICU. A week and a day later, he is now gone due to his injuries; he was only 62. Almost ready to retire. He leaves behind 8 kids, 8 grandkids and a wife, Tammy Matthews. My father was the main provider, and my mother being sick, has been depending on him. My mother, Tammy, was hospitalized a week before the accident, unable to see him and is still hospitalized due to 4 surgeries to remove blood clots from her legs and lungs. It's been one thing after another. We are now faced with funeral costs, extensive medical bills, and the risk of losing our childhood home where they live with my three younger siblings.
