This fund is to help her and her family make the 2,000+ mile trip to her brother-in-laws funeral (Oakhurst, Oklahoma to Bremerton, Washington). Lisa's late husband, Larry Buskirk died 11 years ago. This weekend, Larry's only sibling, Billy died unexpectedly . This is heart wrenching to see the pain this family has and is enduring. Lisa lost her job this year because she was unable to return to work when her FMLA protection had expired. She has not been approved for disabilty and has struggled to help cover the lost income and live with the physical pain from the injury that placed her on FMLA. Lisa and her children were close to Billy and would like to attend his service. She needs money to rent a vehicle to make the trip, gas, food, lodging, and other miscellaneous expenses. The goal of $4,500 is just an estimate.
