Support Sean's Journey to Better Health and Return To Work

Hi, my name is Lisa Garber, and I’m fundraising for my dear friend Sean Pollock, who is facing a heartbreaking situation and needs a helping hand.

Sean worked as a Community Health Nurse in Phoenix, Arizona. About a year ago, Sean suffered a severe back injury. Due to the injury, Sean has been unable to work. He cannot stand for more than 20 minutes at a time and needs the aid of a walker to get around. His doctor recommended surgery that would get him back to 85% and he would have been able to return to work within a couple of months after the surgery. However, it took the insurance carrier almost a year to approve the surgery putting Sean in the situation he's in now.

Because of his housing situation, Sean has had to postpone the surgery until he can find a place to recuperate. Sean needs 6 weeks to recuperate after his surgery and will be able to return to work after his recuperation period.

In the meantime, Sean has exhausted his savings trying to stay afloat. He has sold off everything he owned and is now just a couple of weeks away from being homeless.

Sean has dedicated his adult life in the service of others. Helping people is his greatest joy. He is a kind and generous person who would give you his last dollar if you needed it. Now, he’s the one who needs help.

Cover rent and utilities for the next few months

Pay for transportation to medical appointments

Support daily living expenses (food, basic needs).
