As some of you already know, Judy Brown, a nurse who has had a long career at RIH here in Kamloops, recently lost her sister. Unfortunely, while still in the grieving process, she herself suffered a stroke. Prior to all this, she was struggling with her diabetes and having some other medical issues issues, and she subsequently used up all of her sick time. She is supporting a daughter at home and her son and his girlfriend also live with Judy. Finances have been very tight as she waits for EI to kick in and down the road disablity. She has had no income coming in for the past 5 weeks, and is struggling to pay her mortgage and bills. With Judy's permission , her colleagues at RIH are asking for help  during this very difficult time. Judy is a strong and very independent woman but this has been emotional, physically and mentally draining on her and any assistance would be greatly appreciated on her behalf.
