I'm a heartbroken mother who lost her son 3 years ago to an accidental drug overdose. Jack was only 30 years old. A month later his grief-stricken dad died as well. My older son in the photo came to me for help, he was using opioids. I don't think I could survive another loss if something happens to him. He is ready to go to a rehab treatment center but I do not have enough money to get him there. He needs to go before it is too late.
      The opioid epidemic in this country is devasting families. it's difficult to ask for help. Drug addiction and mental illness still hold such a negative stigma, yet millions of Americans are dying from lack of knowledge and support.
Please help me save what is left of mine.

UPDATE!
 Michael has now been in rehab for the recommended 45 days. The program at Foundations Wellness Center continues with a sober living facility where recovering addicts are required to work, attend daily meeting and continue counseling.  And... It will require additional money to keep him there. It is extremely important that he continues the recovery process as he transitions into a healthy lifestyle.

       We have not reached our goal and even the smallest donation helps. I don't want money to be the thing that keeps him from successfully completing the program.
