Hello, m name is Deborah Skalkos.  In february 2015, I as diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma.  This diagnoses  blew me out of the water because I did not know that I had gone through stages 1-3.  I was and still am devestated by my diagnoses.  I spent six weeks in the hospital while doctors tried to explain to why my back hurt constantly and why the back spasms would not stop.  Before my diagnoses of stage fouur lymphoma, doctors told me I had everything but cancer.  My diagnose was delyed, miss-read, mri biospy miss- read. I was transferred to 3 different hospitals .  The local community hospital had no i dead what was wron with me.  I don't know if I am going to beat this deamon that ravishes my body daily.  Before cancer took over my life I worked part time at a local college and loved what I did working with students. Cancer has taken that away from me. My table is stacked with medical bills that I cannot pay.  I would like to go to Cancer treatment Centers of America to have a fighting chance at beating my cancer.  My living situation has changed since my cancer journey began.  I have always been an independent woman who supported myself and others.  Right now I need help to survive I am 52 and I want to live.  To be perfectly honest some days the pain is so bad I want to die I beg for mercy.  I am asking for help to get to Cancer treatment centers of america and to pay my medical bills.  Cancer hit me like a ton of bricks.  It is stealing my life, my joy, my ability to be independent. Please help me to live.  Please help me stay on course. I thank all of you who have read my story and want to help me.
