Love for Logan
Donation protected
As Cancer nurses we are taught early in our career to compartmentalize our feelings. It is very difficult to do when it effects one of our own.
Nancy Smith, a beloved Oncology RN at Renown Medical Center, and her husband Eric recently found out that their 2.5 year old son Logan has a tumor on his kidney. After many tests and procedures, Oncologists at Oakland Childrens Hospital believe it to be a neuroblastoma. Childhood cancer is the most most terrible thing in the world but also a place where there is a lot of hope for good outcomes. Children are resilient little fighters. Please join me and all of Nancy and Erics friends to tell Cancer to f$&@ off!! Consider donating to a wonderful cause. As anyone knows who has faced an illness, bills pile up. I have the best friends in the world and know what kind hearts you have. Please donate. Any amount is helpful. What is not used will be donated to the Northern Nevada childrens cancer fund.
