I am creating this because I recently lost my oldest daughter, and we are preparing her final arrangements. Since she was a child, she suffered with mental health issues. Then approximately 8 years ago she started her battle with addiction, she was 19 years old, and had a 1 1/2-year-old son. Since this time our family and friends have tried to help her get clean, go to rehab etc. She has spent the last 8 years in and out of rehab. In September unbeknownst to us she checked herself into another rehab. She completed the program and was released December 18, 2022. Unfortunately, we were unaware that the first month or so is the scariest time of someone’s recovery. So many people relapse at this stage and accidentally overdose. Wednesday morning 1/4/2023 I got up for work and found her unresponsive. My youngest daughter and I did CPR on her for about 15-20 minutes prior to the paramedics arriving and taking over. The paramedics did everything they could and were unable to revive her. So at this time, we are making arrangements to have her cremated and have a memorial service.

We are asking for donations for her son Joseph. We intend to use the funds for anything he may currently need and place the extra in some kind of savings account for college.
