Eric "Maserati E" Abercrombie is a talented artist who has been incarcerated since the age of 17.  Eric is currently creating brief documentary films with FirstWatch (https://restorecal.org/firstwatch/) with the intent of changing the prevailing narrative about incarcerated people. He also creates music and his original songs are a blend of smooth melodic vocals, poignant rap and impressive percussive acoustic guitar play, which has been featured on the podcast EarHustle. Whether creating music or film, Eric draws from his life experiences to share messages of hope rooted in a social consciousness aimed to create a better society.  Eric will be released from prison in August of 2019 and is raising money to buy equipment which will allow him continue to write, produce and share his message upon his release.
