Our nephew Michael, aged 3 has sadly been diagnosed with leukaemia after being very poorly for the best part of a month. We are all in shock with this news and obviously Michaels mum has to give work up and his dad will have to reduce his hours to be able to provide support for his son and wife.
Michael has a long and painful battle ahead of him with Chemotherapy. He starts this tomorrow, this is something no person should go through let alone a 3 year old. Once he is allowed home from the hospital hopefully within 10 days depending on how he starts to respond to treatment he will have to attend Addenbrookes Hospital which is a 120 mile round trip twice a week for most of his treatment. His treatment is expected last 2 and half to 3 years.
We are looking to raise as much money as possible to assist with Fuel, travel, food and any other needs that Michael and my sister and brother in law will need during this difficult time.
