Update: last week we took Beans back in to the vet to check on the growth on his foot and have some tests done. As a result we found out the "tumor" is NOT cancer but is actually some sort of rare fungal infection only found in FIV+ cats. The good news is it's treatable and Beans won't be needing an amputation after all.

Thank you so much, everyone who donated! With your help we were able to afford these tests and avoid an unnecessary surgery.

Beans came to us from the streets, and decided he wanted to be a part of our family. Unfortunately not long after adopting him, we discovered a tumor on his foot which will require amputation.

The vet gave us an estimate of $1656.62 for the procedure. Please help us help our sweet boy have a long and healthy life.
