On January 8th, 2020 at 12:19pm Steven & Sarah welcomed their precious baby boy William Steven Nicoles into the world at only 25 weeks gestation. A few days earlier Sarah went to the hospital and was admitted and monitored for severe preeclampsia. The doctors then determined that delivering baby William early was the best way to keep both mom and baby safe. Born 15 weeks early baby William was born weighing just 1 lb 1 oz and 29cm long.
 
William will be staying in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) until he can breath without respiratory support, feed by mouth, maintain his body temperature and gain weight. He is anticipated to need at least 15 weeks in the NICU (he will be released closer to his due date). Mom and Dad are very excited to watch him reach all these milestones and be able to take their sweet baby boy home!

My goal for this fund is simply to alleviate some of the financial burden and added stress that comes with a premature birth and unexpected hospitalization. The money raised will be used for baby William’s medical expenses incurred during his NICU stay, expenses from Sarah’s hospitalization, lost wages from both Sarah and Steven, and those little things that add up- transportation costs and hospital parking, food costs etc. This is not only an emotionally taxing time for the family but a very costly one as well. 

There is no gift too small and I appreciate you taking the time to help this cause.
