Help support me in achieving my dream! Hi, I’m Tristiana Allwood. I was born with cerebral palsy. The doctors told my mom I would never be able to walk or talk. She was told to accept this fact and focus on providing aids for my future. My mom is a fighter. She put me into therapeutic riding when I was two. Through hard work and dedication I learned how to walk by the age of three. Now I can do anything I set my mind to. Horses are my life. I found a passion for dressage, when I was a little girl. I have been competing in this discipline ever since. When I was thirteen I discovered para-dressage. This lets me use aids so I can ride more confidently. I was graded as a grade two. I started to compete more often. My dream then was that I wanted to attend the summer games. In 2012 I qualified two of my horses for the summer games. I took one of my horses and won three gold medals! Since then I have been re-graded internationally as a grade three. I am ranked first on the long list with a score of 69.547%. My next goal is to attend the 2016 Olympics in Rio. I will need to compete internationally at California, Young Riders, and Texas all this year. This is huge! I cannot do this alone either. Any support would help me achieve my next goals in the international para- Olympic show ring, therefore one step closer to the 2016 Rio Olympics. Every little bit helps and is much appreciated :)
