Help Joe with his recovery

On 6/20/22, Joe Farruggio was brought to the hospital via ambulance. At the hospital, Joe was diagnosed with an ischemic stroke and rushed into emergency surgery where they placed a stent in a major brain vessel. He spent the night intubated in the ICU. For the next couple weeks he improved and was discharged from the hospital.Unfortunately, Joe then continued to have mini strokes. Joe underwent many angiograms where they shot medication into the vessels in his brain to open them up and allow blood flow to his brain. Joe then had a procedure which lead to a brain bleed (hemorrhagic stroke) that left him with complete right sided paralysis and loss of his speech.Joe is now stable, however his insurance will only cover 20 days of therapy. Given the severe nature of his deficits, he will likely need a lot more than 20 days. We are hoping his friends and family will come together to help raise money to pay for the extra therapy sessions, (especially speech therapy) that he so desperately needs to get back to a normal life.
