Hello,
My name is Kayla Morgan. I am 16 years of age and currently a high school sophomore. I have been selected into a Academic Program and offered an extraordinary opportunity to travel to Barcelona, Spain to participate in a Spanish Immersion Program during the month of July 2015. It is my hope to embark upon an adventure of a lifetime and gain new perspectives from the Spanish culture. My desire to be enriched by the Program has prompted me to write this letter.
Studying abroad in the historic city of Barcelona opens the possibility to expand my knowledge as a global citizen. However, within my local city I am an active Lacrosse athlete who enjoys giving volunteer services to the community and my church. In addition, my pastimes are tap dancing with a local dance school and skiing. Maintaining a honor roll academic status is the ultimate priority of my educational career.
My wonderful parents are to thank for every achievement because of their unlimited support and
motivation. Although they are willing to fund as much as they can, the full cost of this summer experience will be
burdensome. Therefore, I am in need of financial support and would be grateful for any financial help
you may provide to ensure the possibility of participating in this rewarding trip.
