Support Andrew's Journey to Recovery

I am raising funds on behalf of my brother in-law, my sister and their beautiful children. My brother in-law Andrew, who just lost his father in July, is 3 weeks into a new job and in the middle of moving his family to a new town, has just been diagnosed with metastatic Adenocarcinoma.

 

Adenocarcinoma is a rare cancer that has developed in his bile ducts and in Andrew’s, case has metastasized and spread to his lymph nodes.

Andrew is one of the most selfless people I know. He has dedicated his life to education and has had a profoundly positive impact on the lives of the hundreds of children in his classes during his time as a teacher in the Newtown, CT school system. More importantly he is a loving husband and father to four children under the age of ten. As the main source of income for their family, Andrew does everything he possibly can to give his wife and children the best life possible.

 

The funds we are able to raise will help to alleviate the financial burden on their family in the form of uncovered and unforeseen medical expenses that come up in regards to his treatment. Funds will also be used to help my sister, who has been a stay at home mom since their children were born, manage their house, the move, and help maintain a sense of normalcy and positivity for their kids. Andrew is always striving to take care of others, it is our turn to care of him – This will allow Andrew to devote his energy into battling this diagnosis and focus on resting and healing.
