Sarah Walker Judson
Donation protected
On April 11, 2015, after months of valiant struggle, our beautiful wife, mother, daughter and sister, Sarah Walker Judson, succumbed to the debilitating effects of post-partum depression. Her death is a devastating blow to her young family, to all who knew her, and to the scientific community.
Sarah was an incredibly unique and creative individual who was an accomplished musician, artist, and scientist. Her greatest devotion she reserved for her husband and two young children, ages 2 years and 5 months, respectively, and for God.
As an aquatic entomologist she did much to further science and benefit her fellow men and women. She loved the wonders of creation and was a fiercely dedicated steward of planet earth, quietly influencing those around her to adopt sustainable practices in their use of the earth’s resources.
Sarah's family is seeking donations to help cover funeral and burial expenses, and to give researchers more help in understanding and treating post-partum pychosis and post-partum depression. Any contribution is appreciated and may well spare others from suffering and loss.
