Legion of The Silver Rose
The mission of the Legion of The Silver Rose is to recognize the Courage, Heroism and Contributions of American Service personnel found to have been exposed to Agent Orange in a Combat Zone, whose exposure resulted in internal, invisible wounds which are revealed only by passage of time. The Department of Veterans Affairs recognizes over 40 cancers and sicknesses, including Diabetes, as Agent Orange related and "service connected". The Legion of The Silver Rose hopes to see every Veteran exposed to Agent Orange given the Honors and Recognition they deserve. And, until the day arrives that our own Government decides to honor these victims, The Legion of The Silver Rose will continue to offer the Silver Rose Award to all eligible Veterans or their surviving loved ones.
In October 2015, 25 honorees were recognized and given the Silver Rose Award. Over 300 in attendance for the induction ceremony. We are raising money for the induction ceremony for October 2016.
