Hi my name is Amanda Crann, on December 5th, 2025 in a small town called Phillips Head in Newfoundland, Canada our dad loss his family home along with his two cats in a tragic fire. This was my dad’s family home that he grew up in, it was built by his father who only had one hand. This home was very special and the loss is unmeasurable. Dad got out and we are so thankful for that, he does have a place to stay which is in the same garden with his sister until he can figure something out. The unfortunate part is, dad didn’t have house/fire insurance and so it’s been a complete loss. People have been suggesting we start a Gofundme so here we are. By some miracle we hope to raise enough money to help him somehow start the rebuild process in the spring but we know that is a big goal and a big ask. If you can’t help financially, we ask that you pray for our dad as he navigates through this. We are so thankful for the smaller fundraisers that are helping him with immediate needs and the clothes and other items that have been dropped off.
