Dear Family & Friends,

I come to you with a heavy heart to plead for your prayers and support.  Two weeks ago my disabled brother, Glenn, went to Emergency at UMC in Las Vegas because he had difficulty breathing.  He was admitted, tests were run along with numerous xrays and 2 MRI's.

Our worst fear became a reality.  That ever hateful disease has reared it's ugly head, which now threatens my brother's life.  We all know that the "evil" is called.....cancer.

It started in his lungs than creeped to his spine and bones.  Ultimately the cancer fractured a bone in his back, which causes him great pain as it is literally poking into his spine.  Tragically, it gets worse....there is a possibility of paralyzation.

He is currently undergoing radiation treatments, which will end on April 24th.  This will be followed by Chemotherapy, for how long I don't know.  All I know is that we need to bring him home to Hawaii. 

My cousin Lynez has helped me tremendously in contacting the hospital in trying to find out about his insurance, billing, etc.  Come to find out, he only has Medicare A, which will not cover radiation, chemo or prescriptions.  The facilty who would administer his chemotherapy will not see him without insurance, at all.
Alas, Lynez and I are doing what we can over the phone lines to gather any and all info we can on how to get him coverage, hopefully soon.

My gratitude to my Aunty Maryan who is doing her best and initiated her help in getting me to Vegas.  Thank you Aunty Blossom for offering to help and telling me about "gofundme.com".
