Help Steve Rebuild After Devastating House Fire
Donation protected
On the day of Wednesday May 7th, 2025, tragedy struck our community when a devastating house fire destroyed the home of our dear neighbor and friend, Steve and his family. In a matter of moments, he lost everything—his home, two of his pets, two cars, irreplaceable tools, every piece of clothing, cherished memories, and the basic necessities we all take for granted.
This loss is more than material—it’s emotional, traumatic, and deeply unsettling. The home is gone, but the heart of this story is about a man who has always been there for others.
Steve is not just a neighbor—he’s a cornerstone of our community. A talented and honest mechanic, he’s the guy who fixes your car without hesitation, mows a lawn for someone who’s struggling, or shows up unasked when someone needs a hand. He’s that person—always ready to help, never asking for anything in return.
Now he needs our help.
Insurance will take months to process, and even then, it won’t come close to covering the cost of rebuilding a life from scratch. He’s currently without shelter, without clothes, and without the tools that were not just his livelihood—but part of his identity.
We’re asking for your support to help Steve and his family get back on their feet. Funds will go toward:
• Temporary housing
• Replacing essential clothing and household items
• Rebuilding his mechanic tool set so he can return to work
• Covering transportation needs
• Supporting the long journey of rebuilding a home and a life
- Insulin for his Dog
- Vet bills for their Cat who miraculously survived through the fire.
If you’ve ever crossed paths with Steve, you know how big his heart is. It’s our turn to return the kindness he’s shown us all.
Please give what you can—and just as importantly, share this with others. Let’s rally around a man who has given so much to our community. No donation is too small. Every share makes a difference.
Thank you for your compassion, support, and love.
