Hi my name is Cheryl. Please help me raise money for my son James and daughter-in-law Katie during these very difficult times.  My son was born with a hip condition called Congenital Cox Vara, and has had nine previous hip surgeries since the age of 2 years to prolong the life of his hip. This past September he had a total hip replacement. During the procedure his femoral nerve was damaged and he has no feeling or muscle/motor function from his hip to his foot. His diagnosis is called Femoral Nerve Palsy. He potentially needs another surgery if the nerve is severed and/or not regrowing on its own. He has been attending physical therapy to try to keep the rest of his body strong even during these difficult times. James has been seeking help from neurologists and neurosurgeons, some even out of state. He has not been able to work this entire time and is unsure if he will be able to return to his field of work. The state he and his wife currently reside in only has a 3 month state paid leave which unfortunately has ran out for them. The medical expenses and heart ache that this newly married couple has had to endure is too much to handle alone. They don’t like to ask for help, so I am asking for them.
