Healing Dean Karam - Cancer Fund

My friend, Dean Karam, who I've known since we were less than a year old is in need of some help while he defeats the lymphoma cancer he is battling.

Many who come to this page will already know Dean and know he is one of the most beloved people any of us have ever known.  Many of us would take a bullet for him. He's a rare gem in this world and we'd like to keep him around.

He grew up in Los Angeles and Malibu, California and now lives in El Paso, Texas. Our mother's were best friends when they were in high school together. For all intents and purposes, he's my brother.

Dean is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. However, the illness keeps him from working much of the time. Bills have pilled up and he is in sincere trouble.

Trying to heal from this, and being extremely vulnerable to an infection because of the chemo; he still tries to work his construction job to pay the bills for his wife and little girl. 

Deans kindness is obvious to all that know him. Children  take to him naturally. It's actually wonderful to watch. He can make anyone laugh. He's a person you're always happy to see. The response is testimony to how much he's influenced so many. 

Right now he really needs help. He tries to be so strong and typically doesn't ask for help. And that's OK, we care for him enough to ask for him.

We have a fear that Dean trying to work at the exact time he should be resting will raise the risk of a bad outcome exponentially. He needs to rest and recover.

Dean is one of those amazing people we only meet once in a lifetime, if we're lucky. He's genuinely that one person everyone is happy to know.
